Campbell County

With a population of 55,170 residents, Campbell County contains some 132,000 acres of farmland across 702 farms.

​While the northern corner of the county rests on the James River, most of the county drains south to the Roanoke/Staunton River as it empties out of Leesville Lake.

The Central Virginia Land Conservancy/Blue Ridge Land Conservancy protects 1,955 acres in Campbell County across 5 conservation easements with local landowners.
